  Why does WT rarely reference creationist scientist?

  in watching the latest video in the series "was it designed?

  " at tv-dot-jw-dot-org, i got to wondering why is it that watchtower hardly references scientist that are creationist.

  i know its only a minority from that group, but there are enough out there for them to reference from.

  OGTG - I've noticed that Watchtower doesn't reference much of anything anymore.

  Spot on, it's just all warm and fuzzy stuff these days.

  Languages, Dialects, Accents

  just though i'd start a thread devoted to languages, dialects/sociolects and accents, with the idea being that posters can comment on any language, or dialect or accent of any language, on this thread.. any phrases, expressions or idioms that you find interesting are also welcome.

  first, the subject of english accents came up on another thread.. the british isles have many different types of accent (although many of the dialects may be dying out), and if i start to take a closer look, i can't help but see 'patterns' .... in received pronunciation of standard english, the letter r is pronounced initially, between vowels, and after consonants, e.g.

  red, arrow, break.

  Bit off topic but it really bugs me when prominent speakers in the borg have speech impediments and the climbers imitate them and the young children pick it up as the norm.

  trump's a populist president.. what does it mean?.

  Simon - No, Trump is an outsider.

  10/10, that's what makes him sooooo dangerous and he is self funded so he can't be bought, but he is still vulnerable to blackmail for his indiscretions.

  The popularists are those who understand and oppose the UN / Globalist plans to weaken and destroy the nation states and usher in a centralised "New World Order" (Uh.., I groan even when I type that).

  Don't believe it? have a look at the current UN Global Compact For Migration, which a few countries have wisely side stepped.

  Can you ever see a time when Govt`s of this world will attempt to abolish all religions ?

  we are now in the 21st century of our common era with its insights into the potential of what can be achieved in the near future to benefit mankind for years to come .. the co-operation of governments around the world on so many levels has never been better than it is today and it is at least encouraging to see this .. whether it has to do with the climate , the environment ,food production ,safe water for all ,and the better health for all in the near future, and in the future space exploration.

  however the problem today is still religion !

  in its many extreme forms that divides us in no ways that politics divide us .. politicians learn how to compromise and work with their opponents for the greater good ,whereas religions don`t.. religions divide humans like no politicians ever did well not to the extremes religions will go anyway.. is their going to come a time in history when governments politicians say enough is enough and try attempt to abolish religion ?.

  Don't worry, we are all getting new ears in the new system, just around the corner.

  Try telling that to all the poor fools who worked at the Sydney bethel construction in the early 90's (?) They used heaps of Isocyanate containing clear coat without any respiratory protection and thus suffer numerous health issues to this day.

  alright, so what is the deal with the thousands coming to the states right at election time seeking asylum?

  i'm not up on this, usually try not to be, but how can this not be manipulative?
